About the Founder

Simone Schultz, MA, LMHC, LMSW, LPC, NCC, CASAC-MC


Simone founded H.A.R.M.O.N.Y to create and expand access to compassionate and empowering mental health care. 

Throughout her career, Simone has been passionate about helping individuals achieve mental wellness and improve their quality of life. She has worked in a variety of settings, including private practice and community mental health, and has experience treating diverse populations. In addition to being a direct service clinician, Simone is an experienced leader in the mental health field. She held senior and executive positions as a director and later as an Associate Vice President of Behavioral Health overseeing mental health and substance use clinics.

After years of working in the mental health field, Simone identified a gap in services and saw an opportunity to create a better model of care. She founded H.A.R.M.O.N.Y. to provide high-quality mental health services to individuals and families in New York and eventually expanded access to more states such as California, New Jersey, Pennsylvania, South Carolina, and Texas. Simone is committed to providing evidence-based treatment, personalized care, and a supportive environment for her clients and staff.

As the founder of H.A.R.M.O.N.Y., Simone is responsible for overseeing all aspects of the practice, including clinical services, operations, and business development. She is deeply committed to her staff's professional growth and provides ongoing training and support to ensure her staff are equipped to provide the best possible care to clients.

Simone is also actively involved in the mental health community and works to reduce the stigma surrounding mental illness. She is a content creator and also has written blog posts about mental health topics. She is also currently engaged in research in her Ph.D. program and focuses on topics related to mental health.

Overall, Simone is a dedicated mental health professional who has made it her life's work to help others achieve mental wellness. She is passionate about her work, committed to her clients and staff, and always strives to improve the quality of care she provides.
